Artists' Panel Discussion and Reception August 4, 2007

In conjunction with 'Enduring Visions: Recent Landscapes' by New Orleans Artists, artist and lecturer Jacqueline Bishop will moderate a panel discussion by the exhibition's artists entitled 'Redefining the Louisiana Landscape.' Topics will include the creative process in the post-Katrina environment, the current direction of contemporary landscape painting, and each artist's approach to communicating landscape and landscapes issues through process, materials, and metaphor. Participating artists are Leslie Addison, Ron Bechet, Adrian Deckbar, Simon Gunning, Phil Sandusky, Allison Stewart and George Yerger. A reception and viewing of the exhibition will follow.
