"ARTISTS FROM THE HEART": Creativity Helps Japan
United States of Asian America Festival Presented by Eth-Noh-Tec & Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center

When San Francisco was hit by the 1906 Earthquake, one nation came to aide the devastated city surpassing all other nation's financial contributions: it was the generosity of Japan. Since that time, San Franciscan's have re-built their city upon a reputation as a place with "heart"... and now 105 years later, with the horrific events that have struck Japan - we, the People of the San Francisco Bay Area, now can express our gratitude with artistic sincerity and generosity to aide the Japanese People.

On Saturday, May 21 there will an evening of cultural arts and compassion to both honor Month of May's Asian Heritage Celebration and to raise funds for the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief.

Sponsored by Eth-Noh-Tec kinetic story theater and the Asian Pacific Island Cultural Center, there will be a presentation of poetry, music, storytelling, visual arts & crafts on a theme of "Salon!
