Artisticana 09 Holistic Art and Healing Festival 'Doorways to Light' December 4, 2009

Enter a magical winter atmosphere as the Red Door Collective presents "Artisticana 09 - DOORWAYS TO LIGHT" a mini holistic healing festival and art fair at the Warehouse, 416 26th Street, Oakland.

This festival is sponsored by the curators of the outstanding April show "Myth, Magic, Mystery" at the Red Door. Meet artists who will share sacred paths to creativity, well-being and wholeness through their art.

A partial list of the artists participating includes:
*William Stoneham reading from his amazing Deck of the Avatar
*Christopher Castle, mystical icons
*Yana Womack, photography and jewelry created from her tours to Nepal
*Jais Booth, angel cards
*Tonia Hafter, jewelry and Melting the Dragon massage
*Mark Rollins, fine photography
*There will be a ritual poetry reading with music at 7:30pm with Cheja.

We are part of Oakland's First Friday Art Murmur in the vibrant uptown arts district. Additionally, the Warehouse is hosting a big party this night for the opening of O'Lover Hats in conjunction with Angela Scrivani photography. Across the street is Uptown Body & Fender's holiday art fair, and Studio Quercus. So there's plenty going on, lots to see and good appetizers!
