VSA arts, in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution’s Accessibility Program, presents an artist talk by Kevin Connolly, June 2 from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. at the Discovery Theater, S. Dillon Ripley Center. Connolly, who was born without legs, travels the world on his skateboard, photographing the stares of others to capture “that one instant of unabashed curiosity.” Connolly reflects upon the stories created by people in different cultures and settings when they encounter him. The talk is free and open to the public. Connolly’s photo documentary “The Rolling Exhibition” will be featured in the Hall of States at the John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center from May 29 – July 20, 2008. For more information and to RSVP, please call (202) 628-2800 or visit www.vsarts.org.
