Artist Talk: Vijai Patchineelam at the CRL

Please join the Department of Art and Art History and the Blanton Museum of Art at the Creative Research Laboratory for an artist talk with Vijai Patchineelam, Mapping Exchange artist-in-residence at the Blanton. The artist will discuss his practice and the young artistic scene of Brazil specifically addressing how context has informed the practice of emerging artists in Rio de Janeiro. The talk will feature two screenings and an opportunity to visit Patchineelam’s art pod in the CRL parking lot and view his completed work during his 2-month residency.
