Every day should be Earth Day. It's Spring-let's go Green!

Saturdays, April 19 and April 26, Artisan Market will feature:

Laurie Olefson's tin can clocks and recycled typewriter key jewelry.

Vegan products presented by Breathless Beauty, a privately owned business, which hand crafts skin-loving products for the bath & body. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Breathless strives to make the highest quality products at affordable prices.

Valerie Williams' SEM photographs of Nature's flowers, seeds and Bermuda sand. In her work, Valerie Williams seeks to reveal the hidden mysteries of an, until now unknown world, not visible to the common eye. She achieves a sensual glow in her black & white and color photographs from the interaction between light, shade and especially texture. She does this by photographing the specimens under ideal conditions at high magnifications of 200x or more.

Artisan-Market is sponsored by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy. Fort Greene Park, located in the landmark neighborhood of Fort Greene, Brooklyn is a significant historic park. Although actively used by the community it is in deperate need of repair and restoration. The Fort Greene Park Conservancy is the primary advocate for this cause.
