Some things don’t change and if they do then they always have something better in store for us. Arti Bagdy’s designer exhibitions are back every season with a different color, a different trend, but what never changes is their tag of “style at an affordable price”
ARTI BAGDY’S COLLEZIONE is an unparalleled fashion exhibition connecting fashionistas with what’s beautiful, stylish and inspiring, bringing the best of Indian fashion, lifestyle and now even a selection of contemporary art titled KOLKATA to CHENNAI; ensuring that you are ahead of the latest trends in the world of fashion and art.

On display will be pretty much anything you might need — a full wedding wardrobe; fashion labels; designer jewellery; gift items; home decor and luxurious spa products. On popular demand for the first time a collection of men’s wear will be seen at the exhibition giving men the opportunity to indulge themselves for the coming festive season. Arti Bagdy, the organizer of the exhibition, says, “This exhibition is meant to promote young talent, not only in fashion but in anything that is creative.” There are 30 participants from all over India for the fashion exhibition and eight artists from Shantiniketan and Kolkata for the art exhibition.

DIVERSE ARTISTIC TALENT UNDER ONE ROOF

“Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures,” said Henry Ward Beecher while describing how the artists bring out their creativity. An artist’s job is to give shape to his creativity through some medium and if one thinks of art in India- then it is Shantiniketan near Kolkata which is synonymous with art. Bringing together artists from this Mecca of art and Kolkata is Arti Bagdy’s Art Collezione titled –KOLKATA to CHENNAI. Subhasis Saha, Chandan Das, Tanmay Mridha , Arpita Chandra, Piyali Ghosh, Dhanajoy Ghosh , Pradip Kumar Sau and famed textile artisit Ajit Kumar Das come together for the very first time to Chennai and will showcase their creativity under one roof.
An eclectic amalgamation of specially selected paintings and sculptors, tied together with the commonality of cultural origin, the exhibition is on at the ITC Chola Sheraton Hotel, 1st floor, Cathedral road, between 10:00am to 8:00 pm from 19th to 23rd June including Sunday.
A treat is in for all art lovers! Save the date for these artists are going to be in town for the very first time.
