Bag&Baggage Productions, Hillsboro’s only professional theatre and the resident in-house performing arts organization at The Venetian Theatre, will launch their 2009-2010 Season of work with one of the most critically acclaimed plays in history; Arthur Miller’s Death of A Salesman. The show will take place at the historic Venetian Theatre and Bistro beginning on September 23 and will run Thursday – Sunday until October 11, 2009. Death of a Salesman is a 1949 play by American playwright Arthur Miller and is a classic of American theatre and tells the story of a quintessential American salesman, Willy Loman, who struggles with the cost of his faith in the American Dream and impact that his dreams and aspirations have on his family and friends.

Tickets for Death of A Salesman are on sale now, and can be purchased online at www.bagnbaggage.org. Tickets range in price from $15 - $23, depending on the night and seat selection, and more information can be found online. The first two performances, on Wednesday September 23 and Thursday September 24, are special preview nights, with reduced ticket prices, and the official opening night of the show is Friday September 25th. Evening performances take place Thursday – Saturday at 7:30pm with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm, September 23 – August 11, 2009. .
