The Alpha Chi Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Seattle Central Community College invites the public to an art exhibit, to be held from Friday night, February 6, to Saturday night, February 7, 2009, at Richard Hugo House, located at 1634 11th Avenue on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. An opening gallery reception for the artists will take place from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6,, 2009.
Works by several Seattle artists and Seattle Central Community College faculty artists will be sold to benefit the Uganda Village Project, an effort that supports the construction of clean, sustainable water sources in rural villages of Uganda. The Uganda Village Project (ugandavillageproject.org) focuses on healthcare (with special attention to HIV/AIDS, Obstetric Fistula and Eyesight), Orphan Support and Clean Water. The SCCC chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is acting solely as a link between the public and the Uganda Village Project. Since all event costs are underwritten, every donation will directly support the project

Café Hugo will be serving coffee and tea, beer, wine, cocktails and light snacks. All purchases are cash only.
