Meet the artist and discover the latest from his series Reply Signals.

The Alliance Française de Minneapolis/St. Paul will be hosting an art opening with John Megas in the Grande Salle of the Alliance Française in Minneapolis on Friday, June 22 from 5 to 7pm. The event features the latest pieces from his series Reply Signals and is free and open to the public.

John Megas is a Greek-American painter and printmaker based in Minneapolis. He holds a BA in Art from the University of Minnesota and regularly shows his artwork in various venues throughout the metropolitan area. John recently had work shown at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago and also writes monthly exhibition reviews for mplsart.com. His series Reply Signals are part of a larger series called Signals. Signals comprises a new body of paintings and woodcuts that explore a landscape transformed by the presence of power lines, transformers and sub-stations that often go unnoticed in modern life. All works will be available for purchase and refreshments will be served.
