In keeping with their mission to show artists at critical junctures in their career, Southern Exposure presents solo exhibitions by three emerging artists. Speech and Basins by Matthew Flegle unites the structures of a storage shed and a church steeple that explores the psychology of space. Permanently Temporary by Sarah Smith is a site-specific drawing of a treescape made of sawdust that includes theatrical set elements. Accumulative Dissipation by Chris Sollars, is a giant garbage bag made of black plastic sheeting with an accompanying video installation. (KK)

Note: Arrive at 6:30pm to hear the three artists talk about the work they have on view. The exhibition continues through Sat 2.18 (Tue-Sat: 11am-5pm).
