ART ON THE SQUARE - A Series of Artist Exhibits June 20, 2008

In conjunction with the Art on the Square on June 20th:
Music on the Square with Freesound - Rock & Soul

Redwood City is fast becoming the peninsula’s epicenter for the arts with new galleries and great places to hear live music. Art on the Square joins with the Friday night concert series where artists and artisans exhibiting their inspirational work will transform Courthouse Square. Presented by Redwood City and its Civic Cultural Commission and Redevelopment Agency, these six, juried outdoor shows from June 20th until September 20th will bring some of the best local artists and craftspeople to the heart of downtown.

July 18 - Music on the Square • Madison Blues Band
July 19 - Redwood City PAL Blues Festival
August 1 - Music on the Square • The New Morty Show
Sept. 19 - Music on the Square • La Ventana
Sept. 20th - Redwood City Salsa Festival

Other Events at Downtown Redwood City’s Summer 2008 Series
Along with Art on the Square, other exciting FREE events include include Movies on the Square on Wednesdays, Dancing on the Square on Thursdays, Music on the Square on Fridays as well as Lunchtime on the Square, a bi-weekly performance series on Mondays & Wednesdays. There will also be four special, Target Family Days on Sundays, as well as featured Shakespeare performances and Cultural Events on weekends.
