Art of Glass 2: Green Eye of the Pyramid January 16, 2010

A third 'Art of Glass 2' exhibition at the Chrysler honors Norfolk's 57th Azalea Festival's NATO nation of 2009: the Czech Republic. This masterful casting by the influential husband-and wife team of Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychotova shows the distinctive ability of glass to capture and incorporate light as a means of expressing the emotion and aesthetic of the artists. This piece is on loan from the private collection of Lisa and Dudley Anderson.
