The Ann Arbor Zen Buddhist Temple will celebrate Art Fair week with tours of the Temple gardens and presentations on Buddhism and art.

On Friday, July 23rd, garden tours will again be available starting at 3:00 pm. Benjamin Brose, Assistant Professor of Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Michigan, will discuss dharma transmission in the Zen tradition; the presentation will begin at 7:30 pm.

The Temple will also offer an exhibition of Buddhist works of art, featuring items from its own and private collections. The exhibition will be open to the public during the hours of the garden tours and before and after the evening presentations.

All events will take place at the Temple, which is located at 1214 Packard Street, just north of the intersection of Packard and Granger Street in Ann Arbor.
