Epiphany Rising:

Artist Statement:
I think I see the world in 6D. . .When I enter rooms or walk through the
world, I see beauty in form, depth, color, texture, scent, vibration, spirits
& energy...You name it; I am feeling it, interpreting it and expressing it.
As an artist, I resist structure and limitations of expression. To date my
visual works are introspective with a focus on form, color, light and
depth. I enjoy graphically exaggerating colors and distorting the images
to give the photos new life and meaning. My preferred subjects are
organic creations: humans, the ocean, and trees, all tied in under the
perfection of the sky. Love is the theme of all that I create.
To add another level of texture to the works, sometimes I utilize low
resolution photos that I digitize and graphically alter. A private art
studio is used to produce the gicl�e print and stretch the finished canvas
image onto a gallery size stretcher bar. Some works are then touched up
with oil or water based paints and then coated with a glaze or varnish.
My goal is to continue to create original works that capture the beauty in
all things, the moments and constant miracles that are often missed.
