ART JEWELRY 2009:
Distinctive Personal Adornments by American Designers
Langman Gallery presents the 27th annual holiday exhibition and sale of unique menorah designs and handmade jewelry by more than 75 American designers and craftspeople from across the country.

Our four featured designers are: Seattle jeweler Jennifer Bauser's preoccupation with mid-twentieth century modern design concepts translates to an emphasis on pure, clean jewelry design which celebrates the beauty in simplicity of form. The inspiration for Julie Shaw''s beautiful and powerful designs comes from her spiritual connection to nature and travels to ancient and sacred places around the world. Sharon Shaffner's figurative pins comprised of mixed metals and cut stones reveal her fascination with different cultures, originally inspired by Northwest Coast Indian primitive sculptures. As a New England designer of original Judaica, Karen Rossi creates unusual whimsical and vibrantly painted metal menorahs for the home.
Since 1972 Langman Gallery has presented unique handmade cra fts by American artists and designers. The gallery features fine contemporary crafts including ceramics, furniture, glass, jewelry, lighting, paintings, and sculpture. The gallery is located adjacent to Bloomingdale's in Willow Grove Park. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday, 10-9:30; Sunday 11-6. Please call for extended holiday hours.
