Art History 101: Ancient Near Eastern Art; the Arts of Islam October 1, 2008

Come to the Walters and immerse yourself in 55 centuries of art! This class is part of a semester-long course that will cover great civilizations from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, to great artists like Manet and Monet, and everything in between. The illustrated lectures given by Walters curators and educators will provide participants with a survey of ancient through 19th-century art, and insight into the wealth of one of Baltimore's largest art collections. This is an individual class. It is also possible to register for the entire semester of classes.
