April 4 at 1:00 PM for a special Chelsea gallery tour: “Startling Materials.” The artists in these 8 exhibits push the envelope by selecting unusual, sometimes outrageous materials to construct their works, to delightful and daring effect. It will be our most sensuous, most tactile tour ever! Our guide, who holds a Ph.D. in arts education, helps explain the artwork and leads the group in lively discussion.
