Abbot Kinney Blvd At Venice Blvd
Venice, California 90291

This Sunday September 25th, Venice Beach celebrates the 27th annual Abbot Kinney Festival. As always, many local merchants on this famous street will be participating as well as vendors from all over. Art, fashions, accessories, and unique items can be found at the festival. The Abbot Kinney festival will take place from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm and runs from Venice Blvd to Brooks Ave. There are three musical stages and special food courts with food trucks and seating areas.

New to the festival this year, is Very Venice Art and Design Gallery, who recently opened their doors in August. They will have a booth in front of their gallery located at 1629 Abbot Kinney Blvd, between Venice Blvd and Palms.

Very Venice Art & Design Gallery is a combination of a co-up, and a gallery together, with intensive marketing and monthly PR and events. Owner, Dary Rees, who has a background in business and PR is the perfect person to run a gallery such as this. Dary is also an artist herself as well as a Venice resident. The gallery features original art, and hand crafted merchandise by artists such as Fahmina, Linda Fenster, Lisa Goldfarb, Outi, Dary Rees, Rachel Rubenstein, Karen Saviskas, Felice Willat and so many others.
Make sure to stop by their booth at the festival to enjoy some live painting, one of a kind art, ceramics, jewelry, scarves and more.

Another returning local favorite, is Bohemian Exchange. Located at 1358 Abbot Kinney right off California, this bawdy bodacious boutique offers sassy edgy designs at amazing prices.

Owner, Deborah Lashever supports local artists and world travelers by selling their beautiful clothing and gift items on consignment. The motto of Bohemian Exchange is, “Be the change you wish to see in the World,” and Lashever insists the time to give back is now.

Bohemian Exchange is excited to have a booth once again this year at the Abbot Kinney Festival.

Other local businesses participating are Ananda, The Brig, The Juicy Leaf, Kolu Clothing, Ohm Salon, Zingara Trading and more. See their website for a full listing.
