Art Exhibition "MASTERS COME ALIVE" by Daxa Khandwala August 25, 2009

Mumbai-based artist Daxa Khandwala in her solo show “Masters come alive”, in association with Quanta Arts, recreates the paintings of old masters like Fregonald, Boucher, Quentin Metsys, Andrea Mantegna, Guercino, Pierre Sybleuras, Tiziano Vecellio, George Laugee and Torriglia in her own unique style, in a three dimensional manner by rendering them on canvas with oil, wood and metal ;exhibition on from 26th August to 1st September at Art Desh – The Studio, White House Annexe, Gr. Flr., 91, Walkeshwar Road, Mumbai.
