The Art Directors Guild 75th Anniversary features Max Reinhardt’s Oscar®-winning production of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (1935) with an outdoor screening at The Huntington Library. This is the original Screwball Comedy as conceived by the Bard himself. Romance, magic, mistaken identity, intrigue, true love lost and renewed…Something for everyone!

Featuring an all-star cast, James Cagney, Mickey Rooney, Olivia de Havilland, Dick Powell, Victor Jory, Anita Louise and Joe E. Brown, with a magnificent ensemble that includes some of Hollywood’s finest character actors.
