Art Collecting 101 Workshop August 1, 2007

Art Collecting 101 Workshop will teach how to collect art and provide answers on how and where a beginning collector finds affordable, interesting art.

The workshop presenter, Jamie Brunson, is an independent curator, artist, teacher and art critic. She has been an instructor at Taking the Leap, a program for visual artists training in Emeryville and several colleges around the Bay Area. As a critic and essayist, Ms Brunson has written reviews and articles for regional and national print publications including Art Week, Art Issues, Artspace, Diablo Arts, and Artcoast. She has also curated art exhibits at Mills College Art Museum in Oakland, Western Gallery at Western Washington University in Bellingham, and in numerous Bay Area venues.
