"He is a big pianist. His sound is splendid and full" (New York Times)

Immaculately precise, forceful, captivating, Cohen returns to Philadelphia through "an underground swell of admiration" (San Francisco Chronicle), drawing the attention of those who truly recognize his strengths as a pianist. Performing a program similar to his PCMS debut eight years ago, Brazilian pianist Arnaldo Cohen brings Bach, Beethoven, and Liszt to life at the Perelman Theater on Thursday, November 13 at 8PM.

Cohen has also appeared regularly as soloist with major orchestras, notably with the Philadelphia Orchestra, under distinguished conductor Wolfgang Sawallisch, and with such ensembles as the Cleveland Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. "Cohen produces a big sound that never splinters and is capable of every nuance," states the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2006. "He has a world-class technique."
