Veterans form up for parade (Model Village car park)
Led by a marching band, the parade will march out and turn left onto St Marychurch Road, carry on through the cross junction & traffic lights at Manor Road and Hampton/Cliffside Road, carry on and turn left into Babbacombe Downs Road past the Cliff Railway.

Veterans Badge Presentations
Veteran’s Badges are available for all those who have served in HM Armed Forces, including Volunteer and Regular Reserves, and we are able to make a formal presentation of these at this event. If you would like to apply for a badge, please visit www.veterans-uk.info/vets_badge/vets_badge.htm for an application form (or contact 01803 208861) – however please do not return the form to the address stated but instead post to Anna Gilroy, Torbay Council, Roebuck House, Abbey Road, Torquay TQ2 5TF no later than 1st June – we will then bring your badge with you on the day. If you are unable to make the event, please just return your form to the Veterans Agency who can post your badge to you.
Getting there and parking:
Complimentary transport is very generously provided by Torbay Taxis. Please book in advance (by 15 June) by calling 01803 208861 and quoting this event. Patient Transport, kindly provided by Torbay Hospital, is also available to book free of charge. To request this service please contact Anna Gilroy on 01803 208861 again no later than 15 June.
Please note, there is no parking available directly on site. The nearest pay and display car parks can be found at Princes Street and Walls Hill. Babbacombe Road itself will be closed, however you will be able to drop off at either of these car parks.
