Armed Forces Day Main Event in Carrickfergus June 26, 2010

The main event that we’ve all been waiting for to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2010 will kick off in style with a dramatic flypast overhead towards Bangor at 11am (weather and availability permitting). The main event will take place on Armed Forces Day itself, Saturday 26 June from 11am to 4pm and will feature an exciting range of attractions to appeal to the whole family in Marine Gardens in Carrickfergus.

Admission to this event is free of charge, and we would encourage people to come together to celebrate a fantastic family fun event with falconry, a climbing wall,inflatables, street entertainment, Punch and Judy and re-enactment, whilst at the same time celebrating the Armed Forces with a flypast, military exhibits and hardware, assault course, field kitchen, dive tank and lots more!
