Armed Forces Day concert and sunset ceremon July 3, 2010

The State Band of the Royal Regiment of Artillery, well known for their State and Ceremonial duties, will head the Bill for a Concert to mark Armed Forces Day. They will be supported by Bands from the Navy and Royal Air Force as well as York's own Arts Accademy. Bring a picnic or purchase on site - entertainment for all the family. There will be a Licensed Bar, Food Court, The Regimental Recruitment Teams will be on site to entertain young and old, a Lynx Helicopter will be on site and there will be representation from all the Military Charities and Organisations. The evening will end with the Sunset Ceremony and a fly past by RAF Linton on Ouse. There will be on site parking and the site will be well signposted.
Tickets can be obtained in person from the Army Careers Information Office at 108 Micklegate, York or by phoning 01904 554660. Ticket prices are £8.00 for an adult, £4.00 for Veterans, Children under 16 or concessions, £20:00 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
