Event to include initially a parade on the Monday 22nd June to flag raising ceremony at council offices.
Public event takes place on Saturday 26th June commencing at 10am with a parade of vehicle floats representing Army, Navy and RAF, plus other community organisations. Army Field Kitchen will serve food at reasonable prices with students from the local college being supervised as the cooks.
There will be various stalls for public entertainment. A large marquee will host WWII Concert Party, local ladies belly dancing group, ATC Orchestra, various college and school bands. Amusements for the younger children.
Programme for the display area is being put together and it is hoped to have a number of flypasts and also parachute display.
