Armed Forces Day at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, Gloucestershire June 30, 2012

Our RAF Transport Command Bristol Britannia will be open to the public, and we hope to have a display of historic military vehicles. There is no admission fee, and no charge if you want to display a military vehicle - though donations are very welcome. Refreshments and toilets are available at the AV8 restaurant and bar, which is on the airfield and a two minute drive from the aircraft. All visitors are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. There are easy, wide stairs up to the aircraft. Entry is via the airfield North Gate, signposted Cotswold Airport on the A433 Cirencester - Tetbury road. Then follow the airfield perimeter road to a crossroads, and turn right, following signs to LRTT. You will see the Britannia ahead on your left.
