You are warmly invited to an exhibition looking at different ways of building peace through:

A foreign policy of integrity with long term vision
Training in non-violence and conflict resolution
Pressure for the abolition of weapons of mass destruction and a reduction in the arms trade
Campaigning for human rights
Promotion of fair trade
Responding to the challenge of climate change

Exhibition material presented by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) with assistance from other local and national bodies working for peace and reconciliation

(Bury Quakers wish to make clear that they hold no animosity towards the UK's armed forces, nor do they wish to denigrate their courage and dedication. The 'Alternative View' of our exhibition is the best expression to us, not only of our Peace Testimony, but also of our concern for the well-being and safety of our military personnel. We believe that we care best for these brave young men and women and their families by inviting society to look at means by which armed conflict may be avoided and resolved.)
