Armed Forces Day June 20, 2010

Honour Armed Forces Day at a special family event at Kelham Hall on Sunday June 20 2010.

The Armed Forces flag will be raised at Kelham Hall, following a parade of local ex-service associations and the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment.

You are invited to the parade and a short service of dedication at the flag pole.

Please arrive by 1.30pm for the parade at 2pm.

During the afternoon the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment will perform a display in the grounds, you can take a look round Kelham Hall and its grounds,and take a look inside a fire appliance from Newark Fire Station (subject to emergencies).

Everyone is invited to attend. Please bring your own portable seating.

Refreshments, ice creams and barbecued food will be available to buy.

In case of wet weather, event will be held indoors.

The drive will be closed to vehicles from 1.30pm (except for emergencies).

Kelham Hall is located close to the River Trent. The river is accessible from the grounds. All children must be supervised.
