Families, individuals, advocates and representatives of the deaf and hard of hearing community are invited to attend the 12th Annual Early Detection and Intervention (EDHI) Meeting. Attendees will receive screenings and early intervention support as well as information and resources to help expand opportunities for those with a hearing loss.

In addition, early Detection and Intervention representatives at the state and local level will discuss the importance of enhancing and creating state-based early hearing detection and intervention programs and building relationships with other health professionals, state/federal agencies, advocacy groups and nonprofit organizations that support the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Participating organizations include the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing and telecommunications provider Arizona Relay Service, who will provide information about various products and their services.

The Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (ACDHH) works to improve the quality of life for deaf, hard of hearing and deaf-blind residents. ACDHH aspires to be a national leader in communication access, support services and community empowerment throughout the state. Our mission is to ensure, in partnership with the public and private sectors, accessibility for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and persons with speech difficulties to improve their quality of life.

Arizona Relay Service (AZRS) is a public service provided by the State of Arizona and administered by the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (ACDHH). AZRS makes correspondence by telephone easy, accessible and reliable by offering a wide range of General physicians, healthcare providers, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, representatives of EHDI programs, advocates and individuals and families of the deaf and hard of hearing community are encouraged to attend.
