Please consider joining us for a special adventure and tasting of the wines and food of Argentina.

This reception will include a wine passport including the main Argentine wine regions including Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, and Salta Cafayate as well as tasting tips and a tasting sheet.

6:30 pm Doors open and welcome wine is served

6:45 pm Welcome remarks by trade attache of Argentina

6:50 pm Presentation on the wines of Argentina by Laurent Guinand, President of GiraMondo Wine Adventures

6:55 pm Taste at your own pace reception with wines including 10 signature argentine varietals such as

• Malbec, the full bodied french grape that does wonders in the elevated vineyards of Mendoza Valley and deliver a nice complexity of drak fruit, minerality and tertiary aromas


• Bonarda, a medium-bodied northern italian grape with great fruity flavors
  Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the Bordeaux varietals that found a new expression in Argentina,


• We will try also a couple of Malbec-based blends, and understand the great potential of assemblage in Argentina


• Our offering of white wines will include the the well known Chardonnay as well as the up and coming Torrontes, a grape from northern spain that delivers wonderful aromas of passion fruits, orange and papaya.

There will be a buffet of tapas and argentine delicacies such as meat empanadas, vegetarian empanadas, grilled spicy sausage, tortilla de patatas, croquetas de pollo. etc...

This is not a seated event. Due to embassy security concern, walk ins cannot be accepted. You need to purchase you ticket online for this event.
