For many years, Anne P. Taylor has directed architecture students who use design education to teach math, science, social studies and art in an integrated way in Albuquerque Public Schools. For the past two summers she has led workshops for high school students in a “Career Discovery” studio at the School of Architecture. She is the author of a newly released book Linking Architecture and Education: Sustainable Design of Learning Environments. She has developed programs in Japan and Europe and trained over 5000 teachers to teach architecture and design to students K-12. This summer workshop will help students draw, build models in a problem solving format that foster their personal creativity.
