"Arches of Europe Etcetera" by Kentucky artist, Carol Jones August 1, 2009

A Kentucky artist's love for painting and travel have resulted in a solo art exhibit in the Ethel Smith Gallery in Nashville , TN. The “Arches of Europe Etcetera” show will hang in the gallery at 808 Broadway from July 28 through August 30, 2009. Architectural arches from five European countries will be exhibited: Italy , Ireland , Hungary , England, and Austria . The Etcetera part of the show will be other paintings such as Murano glass from Italy and a rose from New Zealand .

An opening reception will be held Saturday, August 1, from 6 PM – 9 PM CST. In conjunction with the opening is the First Saturday Gallery Hop with trolley cars stopping at several downtown Nashville art galleries.
