More info: The event is aimed at local community groups, historical and archaeological groups and all members of the community and anyone with an interest in becoming involved in community archaeological projects.

The programme will include:

Presentations on possible funding opportunities for community based archaeological projects
The benefits and educational opportunities that can be gained from community based archaeological projects
Some success stories of previous and current community based archaeological projects
A chance to meet and discuss the subject with the professional archaeological team from CfAA
