ARCADE FIRE Announce Full Irish And UK Tour

London, Monday 8th January Arcade Fire today announced a full Irish and UK Tour in March. This is after the five special intimate London shows sold out in less than 2 minutes.

The band will play Dublin's Olympia, Manchester Apollo and Glasgow Barrowlands, culminating in two mammoth shows at London's Brixton Academy. Tickets go on sale this Friday 12th January at 9am.

The band's second album 'Neon Bible' will be released on the 5th March 2007, preceded by an as-yet untitled single on 19th February.

wow, that sold out fast. Both days were "no tickets available" about 3 seconds after 9AM :(

You can blame MCD and Ticketmaster for the instant sell out. They failed to limit the number of tix that could be purchased, and played right into the hands of scalpers. After the sell outs of the 'intimate' London shows, they really should have known better. Anyone got a spare ticket?
