ArbCamp is a one-day gathering for people to share and learn in an open environment. The very broad organizing theme is social networks and social media. ArbCamp will be a time to see what other people and companies are working on, to meet some new folks, and to listen, demo, scheme, etc. You’re invited! ArbCamp is loosely modeled after barcamp, with the goal of getting techies, marketers, businesspeople, poets, academics, etc. engaged with one another for a few intense hours. Everybody who attends will set the agenda for the day, with food, meeting spaces, and a basic schedule provided.

This isn't a BarCamp if you have pre-slotted speakers and $2000 sponsors. BarCamps traditionally limit sponsorships to no more to $300 to keep the vibe low-key and so that anyone with even $15 or $20 can contribute.

It's not about production, it's about offering an open environment in which people can share their passions. Anything above that is gravy.

Here's hoping you can spread the Spirit of BarCamp and follow in the footsteps of the more than 300 successful and free *camps that have taken place since the first one.
