The 39th Annual AppleJack Festival 2007 is hosted in Nebraska City; well-known for its apple orchards, it should be no surprise that the historic community celebrates the apple harvest all weekend long.

The celebration includes:


  • All-You-Can-Eat Waffle Feed featuring 9” malted Belgian waffles and introducing Apple-Cinnamon flavored waffles with your choice of Nine Delicious Toppings.

  • AppleJam Fest is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for people of all ages. Enjoy Giant Inflatable games, Children’s Creative Activities, the Kiddie Train, Face Painting, Radar Throw, Live Entertainment, and Apple Pie Eating Contest. We’re pleased to introduce the Lincoln Children’s Museum, the NEW Apple Bar, other great food, fun drinks, and even more fun & games. Not only is there MORE, it’s all day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Our Biggest Parade of the Year. “Cider-Licious” is the theme and the parade features the Marching Band Competition.

  • Pick Your Own Apples – Check it out at Arbor Day Farm and Kimmel Orchard.

  • Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the AppleJack Car Show lining Central Avenue on Sunday, Sep. 17. Enjoy Stock and Modified Cars, Trucks, Sports Cars, and Motorcycles.

  • Huge variety of Craft Shows all over Historic Nebraska City.

  • Choose to walk or run in the AppleJack Fun Run/Walk sponsored by the Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Enjoy a 5 Mile Run/Walk and don’t miss the 1 Mile Kid’s Run.

  • Nebraska Meat Outlet hosts the Cargill Truckload Meat Sale. It’s downtown, 1-block from AppleJam Fest.

  • The Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center is commemorating The Return Trip of The Lewis & Clark Expedition with Riverboat Cruises and other discovery activities.

  • Show your strengths at the AppleJack Strongman Contest brought to you by the Ambassador Wellness Center.
