Aphrodizia presents: Seduce & Destroy featuring Yoko K. February 24, 2007

Aphrodizia is a live music and art performance collaboration out of Washington D.C. that incorporates an organic musical and visual experience blending live hypnotic soundscapes with projected visual elements and interpretive human sculpture.

The music is performed by a four-piece ensemble presenting an overlay of ethereal vocals, keyboards, violin, flute, saxophone, conga and djembe atop ambient electronic beats. Powerful drawings interpreting the music come alive through the use of animation and projection on walls throughout the performance while integrating live video performance footage. Live painted and costumed human sculpture move slowly but deliberately through the performance space creating a human bridge and extrasensory experience that envelops the audience.
