APE Aftermath @ Isotope w/ Josh Cotter & Nate Powell November 1, 2008

In celebration of San Francisco's Alternative Press Expo, the Isotope is inviting all of our fellow comic-loving sexy nerds and nerdettes to our biggest, our best, and our favorite bash of the year... APE AFTERMATH!

This seventh annual most extra-spicy special-saucey post-APE bash of true indy comic epicurean proportions will astound and delight you like no other. Feed your brain, delight your senses, and drop your jaw with a mix and mingle set you won't soon forget. The schedule of events is a truly dangerous cocktail of once-in-a-lifetime awesomenesses your mother should have remembered to warn you about before you left the house, dear friends!

7pm - The festivities kick off right after con with a live art thunderdome jam with SWALLOW ME WHOLE author/artist Nate Powell and the comics-god-in-sneakers Josh W. Cotter of SKYSCRAPERS OF THE MIDWEST fame. And Top Shelf Publisher Brett Warnock once again stepping behind the Isotope bar for a margarita marathon during the Top Shelf Happy Hour.

10pm - is the ceremony for the one and only 2008 winner of the Isotope Award for Excellence in Mini-Comics. This prestigious do-it-yourself award shines the spotlight on your favorite creators of tomorrow and has been the launch-pad for some very bold and illustrious comic careers. Who will take home this years trophy?

Each year this event is always the Isotope's biggest, our best, and our favorite event all year long. Bring your ID, break out the hottest duds, and invite along your sexiest nerds and nerdettes!
