Join The Association of Performing Arts of India as they present Layaalayam - The Abode of Rhythm, exploring the aesthetics of rhythm within the rich Indian dance tradition. Featuring maestros Raja and Radha Reddy & Group from the field of Indian Rhythm and music, this world renowned program redefines and rejuvenates their glorious cultural heritage while showcasing to new audiences the eternal appeal of classical dance and music, which continues to be popular throughout the ages. From the poetic Kuchipudi dance to the five rhythms emanating from Shiva dance, Layaalayan beautifully portrays and celebrates the cultural mosaic of this magnificent art form.

The Association of Performing Arts of India (APAI) is a 50l(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. APAI was founded in 1998 to preserve and promote ancient Indian Classical Music and Dance. Indian music, despite much evolution and development maintains many of its original characteristics and has been preserved in an unbroken tradition for many millennia.

I personally am a fan of Stephan Mikes for many years. I used to get post cards of where he was performing in our area as he is in MIA. Met him first at The Broward Convention Center. And then bought every cd he had at art street fair in FLL. Glad to see him on YouTube! I found it interesting he could play and talk to people too! Great to find him doing well and still out here!
