Inspired by a true story from the late 1970s and touching on legal and social issues that are as relevant today as they were 35 years ago, ANY DAY NOW is a powerful tale of love, acceptance and creating your own family. When a teenager with Down syndrome (Isaac Leyva) is abandoned by his mother, a gay couple, played by Alan Cumming (The Anniversary Party, GoldenEye, Josie and the Pussycats) and Garret Dillahunt (Winter's Bone, No Country for Old Men, TV’s Raising Hope), takes him in and becomes the loving family he's never had. But when their unconventional living arrangement is discovered by authorities, the men are forced to fight a biased legal system to adopt the child they have come to love as their own. Also stars Frances Fisher. Directed by Travis Fine (director of The Space Between, also known as actor, including in The Thin Red Line, Girl, Interrupted, and TV’s The Young Riders).
