Anthem Fight for Air Climb February 28, 2010

One breath and one stair at a time, the American Lung Association in Colorado (ALAC) and an anticipated 2100 Coloradans will climb Republic Plaza, the tallest building in the Rocky Mountain West, to take steps in our fight to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.
As ALAC’s biggest fundraising event of the year, the 5th annual stair climb anticipates it will raise more than $380,000. Climbers will take off in 8-second intervals and climb 56 floors and 1,098 steps to reach the stunning views of Denver’s skyline before returning to the lobby for interactive booths, food and fun.

Individuals can register for $35 regular registration with a required $56 pledge minimum (to represent the 56-story climb). Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories.
