One of the season’s most eagerly anticipated special events, Anonymous 4's annual holiday concert returns by popular demand to Rittenhouse Square’s expansive, festive Holy Trinity Church. Renowned for their unearthly vocal blend and unmatched medieval repertoire, the women of Anonymous 4 present their newest program, A Virgin Unspotted: Medieval and Traditional Christmas Songs for Mary. This veritable feast of medieval Christmas music in Mary’s honor spotlights ancient works from three lands: carols and songs from England; French and Latin motets from the 13th century; and a selection of Iberian music, including motets and songs from the Codex Las Huelgas and Cantigas de Santa Maria.
