Anita Maj is the feisty, driven London singer and songwriter making an impression on both sides of the Atlantic with her feisty power pop inspired by Debbie Harry and PJ Harvey. Debut album 'Truth Or Dare' is due for release this spring on Lil Minx Records. Produced by Dan Swift (Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Snow Patrol) it is packed with instant grrrl powered anthems.

Anita kicks off 2012 with a home town show at South East London's buzz bands event, Toejam club. Its worth arriving early as promoters Matthew and Lucca have a habit of scouting cool future tips.

Linkend to a 21st century punky Bangles/Suzi Quatro/Pink she plays every show like a major festival headline and regularly gigs at key London’s music venues. A growing attraction on the national festival circuit she has played with Art Brut and The View recently recording her first BBC Introducing Session.

Another album track, 'Undercover' is on the latest edition of computer game, Rockband and extra track, ‘Proud’, has also been receiving rock show radio play.
