Animal Haven's 15th Annual Walk-A-Dog-Athon September 26, 2009

The Animal Haven is looking for walkers and asking people to participate in The Animal Haven’s Annual Walk-A-Dog-Athon on September 26, 2009 on the North Haven Town Green. To be a walker, please obtain a WADAT flier at The Animal Haven, 89 Mill Rd North Haven, CT or call to have one mailed to at 203-488-3859. The entry fee is $15.00 per walker. You may also sign up the morning of the event at 9:15AM.
The Animal Haven’s annual Walk-A-Dog-Athon on September 26, 2009 starts at 10AM. It is a very fun morning where people and canine join forces to raise needy revenue to run our shelter for homeless cats and dogs. Walkers get a T-shirt and a gift for their dog. Additional funds can also be obtained when the walkers ask family & friends to sponsor them to walk. You DON’T’ need a dog to walk and support The Animal Haven.

There will also be many pet-related vendors for you to visit. Vendors will display dog treats & food, doggie day care, grooming services, pet clothing and accessories. Please join us for a fun morning and feel great about yourself because you will help raise needy funds to benefit homeless adoptable animals at The Animal Haven!

The Animal Haven takes in adoptable homeless pets and takes pride in matching them in loving permanent homes. The Animal Haven functions by private donations and receives no funds from town or government sources. The Animal Haven has proudly been serving people and homeless pets in Greater New Haven, CT for 61 years.
