Animal Friends Annual Comedy Club Fundraiser August 27, 2009

ANIMAL FRIENDS HUMANE SOCIETY AND THE RIVERCENTER COMEDY CLUB are having their annual fundraiser. Doors open at 7:00pm for music, food, SILENT AUCTION, and lots of fun. The headliner will be GEMINI, seen on Comedy Central, and music provided by EDDIE AND THE ALLNIGHTERS. The event is sponsored by The PAWDEROSA RANCH and food provided by DON STRANGE OF TEXAS and EARL ABEL'S. The SILENT AUCTION will have a diamond pendant from AMERICUS DIAMOND, golf for four, art work, gift baskets, and gift certificates from places like WOMENS SUPER FITNESS, THE GRILL ON THE TAVERN, PERICOS, SALSALITO'S, RED LOBSTER, SEA ISLAND, PAPA NACHO'S, CHUEY'S, CHEESY JANE'S, DICKIES, AND MANY MORE. Because of the day and time, the event is mainly geared for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the Animal Friends shelter on 213 W. Borgfeld Rd. (830-980-3647)or either at the Comedy Club on line or at the door.
Money raised will go to the housing, feeding and medical care of all the animals at ANIMAL FRIENDS which is a "TRUE NO-KILL" shelter.
