.......ANIMAL’S IN NEED OF YOUR HELP.....every little bit helps!!!

The SOUTHAMPTON INN and EFFEN VODKA are proud to sponsor a benefit party for ROCKY’S FUND/WELCOME HOME SANCTUARY on Sunday, July 30, 2006 from 4pm-7pm at the Southampton Inn. With a suggested donation of $10 per person, everyone who comes out to help Rocky’s Fund will receive two Free EFFEN Vodka Cocktails, creatively named after some of the Sanctuaries animals, cruelty-free hors d’oeuvres served compliments of Joseph Hsu, Executive Chef of Southampton Inn, and a Live Jazz Concert by the LaRe Jazz Trio. 100% of all proceeds & contributions will be donated to Rocky’s Fund to help feed & care for our furry friends in need. Please join us Sunday to raise funds and awareness for the many Sanctuary animals and the lovable animals who are up for adoption. If you prefer wine you can choose the free drinks from our donated wines, the selections are Santa Marina Pinot Grigio, Christian Moueix Merlot, and some selections from Martin Scott Wines.

Rocky’s Fund/Welcome Home Sanctuary is a 501[c][3] non-profit animal rescue organization based in Southampton, and is a member of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals. The Rocky’s Fund mission is to assist needy animals who have been abused, abandoned, left alone due to the loss of their guardian(s), neglected – the animals who have lost all hope of a happy life. While many of the animals rescued by Rocky’s Fund are rehabilitated and will find new forever homes, some animals – the seniors, because they are considered “too old”, and the ones with special medical and/or behavioral needs which make them “unadoptable” by societies standards – will live their lives out in the Sanctuary. Welcome Home Sanctuary uses no kennels or cages: the animals live as companions in a home environment. The Sanctuary does not believe in “warehousing” animals. This means that the organization not only needs daily operating funds, but also sponsors to “adopt” the “unadoptables”. This benefit will help the Sanctuary fulfill its mission.
