Anihan
[a-nee-han] noun, Tagalog/Filipino:
harvest; the result or consequence of any act, process, or event. the Fall/Winter 2007 showcase for Melissa Clemente Designs.

Anihan (Tagalog for harvest) celebrates the launch of the Melissa
Clemente Designs Fall Winter 2007 line. Her jewelry uses extraordinary applications, giving each piece a distinct feel that rises above traditional accessory considerations.

Anihan is an interpretation of Filipino Folk dance costuming. These have been inspired by traditional art forms from the mountain regions of the Philippines. It is a meditation on festive dance, hunting rituals,
harvest ceremonies and community.

To experience Anihan, live through the magic and highly-charged
spiritual energy created in this festival. This celebration also brings
together selected artists, families, friends, those who inspire and
those who believe.

Now is the time and season for such a gathering.
