Al Dawson In Concert

A native of the Midwest, Al has performed as a singer, guitarist and drummer with The Cryan’ Shames, The Boston Tea Party, Aorta, Platte River Crossing, Cotton, Possum River and Otis & The Elevators.

He has recorded rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass and folk, in fact pretty much everything except opera.
Al continues to write and perform and his sound has mellowed with age. His repertoire also includes the songs of many great writers including songs written with long time friend and collaborator, John Seay.

His new CD “Against The Grain” features beautifully crafted acoustic guitar and wonderful vocals from an old time rocker who, as Steve Earle states, “still plays and sings like an avenging angel”.
